Senior Mobile Developer – iOS & Android

About the role

Sharesource is looking for a Senior Mobile Developer to lead the design and implementation of high‑quality iOS and Android applications. You will work on mapping and geospatial data projects, turning complex information into intuitive mobile tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native mobile apps for Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift).
• Build modern UIs using Jetpack Compose, XML, SwiftUI, and UIKit while following Material Design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• Integrate native frameworks such as Android Jetpack components, Coroutines, Dagger/Hilt, MapKit, CoreLocation, and third‑party SDKs.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and background processing across platforms.
• Write unit, UI, and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product and design teams on architecture, tooling, and best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on Android development with Kotlin and iOS development with Swift.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Dagger/Hilt, LiveData, ViewModel, and iOS frameworks such as Core Data, MapKit, CoreLocation.
• Experience with offline‑first architectures, REST/GraphQL integrations, and real‑time data handling.
• Proficiency in MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVC and building scalable, maintainable code.
