About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join a leading renewables firm in the Philippines. The role will provide strategic legal guidance across the company’s wind, solar, storage, and land/real‑estate operations.
Key responsibilities
- Offer strategic advice on all Philippines‑based renewable energy activities.
- Review, negotiate, and advise on complex agreements, including EPC, O&M, joint ventures, offtake contracts, and financing documents.
- Support the resolution of claims, disputes, and investigations related to construction, business development, land acquisition, and offtake arrangements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in law or an equivalent legal qualification.
- Minimum of 15 years post‑qualification experience, with at least 5 years in the energy sector preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of the renewable energy industry and its regulatory environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
