Senior Joinery Programmer (Microvellum / Commercial Joinery)

About the role

A growing Australian business delivering custom commercial joinery and interior fit-out solutions is looking for a Senior Joinery Programmer. You will turn approved design documentation into precise, production-ready programs that support manufacturing and installation. The role is 100% remote under an independent contractor agreement, following Australian business hours, with AU holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM) for production and client approval.
• Develop CNC programs, cutting lists, beam saw and edge bander files, and machining files using IMOS.
• Convert approved design and architectural drawings into production-ready manufacturing documentation.
• Coordinate with design, procurement and production teams and revise programs after design changes.
• Maintain project information in ERP and manufacturing software, verify documentation before production and resolve programming or documentation issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Joinery Programmer, Joinery Detailer, Cabinetry Programmer or similar in commercial joinery or cabinetry manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with IMOS (Homag) and Microvellum; strong understanding of commercial joinery manufacturing processes.
• Experience preparing shop drawings, BOMs, cutting lists, CNC programs and production work orders, and interpreting architectural and construction drawings.
• Attention to detail, analytical and organisational skills, and ability to work independently with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• IMOS (Homag) - required; Microvellum preferred
• ERP systems such as Innergy or similar
• AutoCAD and CNC programming software
• Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred: Microvellum or other joinery software, ERP experience in manufacturing, familiarity with CNC machinery, and experience on commercial fit-out or custom joinery projects. The stated salary is PHP 180,000 per month, subject to client discretion on skills and experience.
