Senior Engineer, Test Engineering - Product Development

About the role

Analog Devices is hiring a Staff Test Engineer in its Product Development team in Cavite, Philippines. You will design, develop and implement cost-effective methods for testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment across all phases of product development and manufacturing, with minimal oversight. You will direct test and diagnostic programs, design advanced test fixtures and equipment, and provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement comprehensive test strategies and methodologies across multiple product lines
• Develop and optimize diagnostic testing programs that identify complex performance issues
• Design and direct the development of advanced test fixtures and equipment
• Create standardized test setups and procedures that ensure compliance with industry and company standards
• Direct labor, schedules and equipment allocation across multiple projects
• Lead resolution of complex technical issues and guide cross-functional teams
• Develop testing processes that exceed quality standards and drive continuous improvement
• Lead qualification efforts for multiple product lines
• Lead the design and oversee manufacture of complex PCBs for test setups and evaluation boards

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related technical field
• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience in test engineering or a related discipline
• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior engineers
• Willingness to travel about 10% of the time; normal working hours in the Philippines
