Senior Engineer – C# & Java (Financial Services)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer with strong C# and Java expertise to design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑level applications that support post‑trade affirmation and confirmation workflows. The role involves real‑time message processing, integration with market‑data and clearing systems, and collaboration with distributed teams across several regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance message consumption, transformation, and publishing capabilities.
• Maintain high code quality through unit testing, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide L3 support for deployments and production issue investigations.
• Participate in SAFe agile ceremonies and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with architecture and DevOps teams to follow design and implementation guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with standard SDLC processes and design patterns.

Required profile

• Multiple years of professional experience in global financial services, preferably with exposure to trade confirmations, clearing and STP.
• Strong background in server‑side design within banking or trading environments.
• Hands‑on experience with FIX protocol and FIX engines (e.g., QFJ, Rapid Addition, UlBridge) is a plus.
• Proven ability to work in a distributed, remote‑friendly setting.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills.
