Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

JoyRide is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve its infrastructure and engineering operations. You will modernize CI/CD pipelines, improve release efficiency, and ensure security while working in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation and architecture of cloud‑native software products.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with the Head of Software Engineering and other tech leads to align on priorities.
• Mentor and guide engineers on best practices, code reviews, and security standards.
• Stay current with developments in web applications, cloud services, and observability tools.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with AWS or GCP and Linux system administration.
• Strong background in Docker, Kubernetes, and networking components such as ELB.
• Proven track record of delivering production‑grade CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools.
• Ability to balance rapid development with security and reliability.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring engineering teams is a plus.
