Senior DevOps Engineer, CX

About the role

NiCE is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Build and Deploy team in the Philippines. You will own CI/CD pipelines, build systems and release automation, enabling engineering teams worldwide to deliver software reliably and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise continuous integration and deployment pipelines across multiple applications and environments.
• Lead the evolution of software‑defined infrastructure and automation practices.
• Coordinate complex build and release activities with engineering, operations, QA and other stakeholders.
• Define and improve automated quality gates, release controls and deployment standards.
• Partner with engineering teams to establish code‑quality metrics and delivery measurements.
• Identify process gaps and drive improvements in build automation, scalability and reliability.
• Research, prototype and recommend new DevOps tools and technologies.
• Provide technical leadership on branching strategies, environment management and release processes.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of source control, pipelines, build and deployment systems.
• Support production and pre‑production releases, including occasional off‑hours support.
• Mentor other engineers and promote DevOps maturity across the organisation.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience with Git‑based source control, preferably GitHub.
• 3+ years of experience writing Python, Shell or similar scripts.
• 2+ years of experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• 2+ years of experience with DevOps pipeline tools (Bamboo, CircleCI, Spinnaker, etc.).
• Strong background in build automation, code promotion, branching strategies and release orchestration.
• Hands‑on experience building, deploying and supporting Docker containers and micro‑services.
