Senior Data Engineer (Cloud)

About the role

EY GDS Consulting is looking for a Cloud Senior Data Engineer to join its Data Engineering Team in Taguig. The role sits within a multi-disciplinary team of more than 1,400 professionals in the global transaction business, with the chance to work with EY Consulting practices globally.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience developing cloud data ingestion and processing pipelines using at least two of the listed technologies.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or Qlik.
• Familiarity with data modelling best practices for data engineers.
• Strong analytical skills and enjoyment of solving complex technical problems.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills, especially in support roles.
• Good communication and presentation skills for gathering business requirements and presenting solutions.

Required skills

• Data pipelines: Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, AWS, GCP, Snowflake or Hadoop.
• Programming: Python, PySpark, Scala, JavaScript and SQL.
• CI/CD and DevOps with Git.
• Data architecture: NoSQL databases, RDBMS or Databricks Unity Catalog.
