Senior Corporate Accountant – Remote

About the role

Arboreal Management is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to lead corporate accounting activities for its rapidly expanding property management portfolio. The role is fully remote and supports month‑end close, financial reporting and process improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review month‑end and quarter‑end journal entries for corporate accounts.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and well‑supported account balances.
• Coordinate close tasks with property accounting and offshore finance teams to meet reporting deadlines.
• Perform and review account reconciliations (bank, prepaid, accruals, intercompany, fixed assets, etc.) and investigate reconciling items.
• Provide variance analysis and analytical support for balance‑sheet and P&L movements.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and schedules for internal stakeholders and property owners.
• Support external audits and tax information requests, including preparation of schedules and documentation.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and internal controls.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented accounting professional with strong focus on accuracy and controls.
• Experience in month‑end close, financial reporting and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to improve and document repeatable accounting processes.
• Comfortable mentoring junior team members.
