Senior Controller – NetSuite Expertise (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Controller with deep NetSuite expertise to lead accounting operations for US‑based clients. This fully remote position works on a US CST or EST shift and offers a hands‑on leadership role in financial reporting and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and manage the month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and workpapers to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with accrual accounting and US GAAP principles.
• Analyze cash flow, prepare forecasts, and develop financial statements and reporting packages.
• Establish and enhance accounting processes, internal controls, and NetSuite data integrity.
• Serve as the primary accounting lead for US clients and mentor senior and staff accountants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 6‑8 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role such as Controller or Accounting Manager.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with NetSuite (required).
• Knowledge of QuickBooks (preferred).
