Senior Civil Engineer

About the role

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Engineering team in Makati. The role reports to the Engineering Director and covers projects across the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, focusing on renewable-energy civil works.

Key responsibilities

• Design and review detailed civil works for wind and solar projects, including access roads, platforms, drainage systems and earthworks.
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic modelling using HEC‑RAS.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the region and with headquarters in Spain to ensure integrated project execution.
• Support permitting by preparing and reviewing technical documentation and responding to regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review procurement and construction documentation.
• Conduct site visits to assess terrain, validate designs and support construction and commissioning.
• Optimise civil designs for cost efficiency, constructability and environmental performance.
• Supervise civil contractors and monitor compliance with quality, safety and sustainability standards.
• Identify technical risks and propose mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in civil engineering for renewable‑energy projects (wind and photovoltaic).
• Hands‑on experience in the Philippines and familiarity with regulations in Thailand and Vietnam.
• Ability to work across a regional scope and coordinate with local and international teams.
