About the role
The Senior Business Development Specialist will lead the QR PH P2M and SME online businesses, shaping strategies that drive merchant acquisition, product enhancements, and new‑venture integrations. You will oversee a team that connects with partners, optimises processes and ensures the company meets its acceptance‑point and transaction‑volume targets.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the team in establishing strategic industry partnerships (online and offline) to boost brand visibility and merchant acquisition for Maya’s QR PH payment channels.
- Design and implement trade, marketing, and merchant programmes in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Drive product and process development to improve the end‑to‑end SME merchant onboarding and after‑sales experience across both online and offline channels.
- Monitor performance metrics, generate reports and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related Business Management field.
- 8‑10 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Business Development or Account Management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience within Banking, E‑commerce or Fintech.
- Strong understanding of the Philippine digital payments ecosystem.
- Proven project and campaign management expertise, data‑driven decision making and ability to build robust stakeholder and partner relationships.
