Senior Associate, Safety Surveillance Physician

About the role

The Safety Surveillance Physician (Senior Associate) will lead proactive product safety monitoring, applying systematic surveillance strategies across clinical, post‑marketing, and observational data sources.

Key responsibilities

• Perform alert triage within defined timelines, reviewing case and aggregate safety data to identify potential signals.
• Validate and support signal evaluation through analysis, interpretation, and summarisation of data from clinical studies, medical literature, health authority databases, and product quality sources.
• Assist in developing and implementing post‑marketing surveillance strategies and product‑specific medical safety assessments.
• Participate in matrix teams to address product‑specific safety issues and evaluate novel computer‑assisted analysis tools.
• Track signal disposition and management activities, maintaining relevant documentation.
• Organise work to meet deadlines, ensure high‑quality deliverables, and support peer reviews.
• Monitor training, timesheet, and compliance requirements, and report security incidents as needed.

Required profile

• Board‑certified medical physician.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex safety data.
• Excellent attention to detail and record‑keeping skills.
• Effective communication, presentation, and teamwork capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
