Senior Architectural Designer – ArchiCAD/BIM (Remote, Australia)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Designer to lead construction documentation for complex residential and mixed‑use projects. The role is fully remote and focuses on delivering accurate, coordinated, and compliant documentation from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate architectural documentation across all project stages, including feasibility, concept, development applications, design development, and construction documentation.
• Utilise ArchiCAD and BIM workflows to support project delivery and team objectives.
• Collaborate with Project Architects, Associates, Senior Associates and consultants (structural, civil, building services) to ensure integrated outcomes.
• Prepare detailed construction packages: stair drawings, kitchen, bathroom and laundry documentation, plans, sections, elevations, schedules, façade detailing, window schedules, external works, concrete profiles and construction details.
• Review documentation for accuracy, coordination, compliance and constructability.
• Maintain drawing packages and project information on digital collaboration platforms.
• Monitor project programmes, manage work packages to meet deadlines, and contribute to design discussions.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience in construction documentation, especially stair, kitchen, bathroom, laundry and full package preparation.
• Proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary consultants and resolve coordination issues.
• Familiarity with Australian architectural standards, regulations and professional practice guidelines.
• Senior‑level expertise with a focus on buildability and technical problem‑solving.
