Senior Android EMV Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer with deep expertise in payment systems and EMV transaction flows. You will design, build, and maintain secure Android mobile applications, including POS and SoftPOS solutions, for a fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Android applications using Kotlin for POS, SoftPOS, and payment‑enabled mobile solutions.
• Implement and manage EMV transaction flows, including AID configuration, TLV handling, and terminal parameter management.
• Integrate with backend APIs, payment gateways, acquirers, and third‑party SDKs.
• Support scheme certification activities (Visa, Mastercard, BancNet) by executing test cases and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, secure coding standards, and mobile security best practices.
• Troubleshoot transaction‑related problems such as declines, reversals, and communication failures.
• Lead code reviews, enforce clean architecture (MVVM, modularization), and optimize performance, stability, and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers and participate in architecture discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional Android development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with POS or SoftPOS applications and EMV‑based payment systems.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, secure API integration, and mobile security concepts.
• Experience supporting scheme certification testing and familiarity with PCI DSS requirements.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
