DevOps Engineer L1

About the role

Join the DevSecOps Execution & Support function to help deliver secure, high‑quality software for digital banking and financial services. You will work on a self‑service platform that enables consistent, auditable build, deploy and operation of applications across any cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to building and maintaining the DevSecOps platform and tool chain.
• Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure‑as‑code and pipeline components.
• Support Enterprise Cloud Automation by hardening, scaling and onboarding business units.
• Assist squads in adopting the platform through standardisation and hands‑on support.
• Create and maintain Terraform modules and golden patterns.
• Implement and extend platform components across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Help implement policy‑as‑code and automated guardrails for provisioned resources.
• Quality‑assure vendor‑executed work against platform standards.
• Provide pipeline onboarding, troubleshooting and minor enhancements to consuming teams.

Required profile

• Working exposure to at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform and a willingness to deepen expertise.
• Familiarity with CI/CD using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with containers (Docker) and basic Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Exposure to pipeline security tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning (e.g., Trivy, Qualys) and secrets management.
• Basic observability, monitoring and scripting skills (Python, Bash).
• Proficiency with Git‑based workflows and code review processes.
