Senior AGI32 Lighting Designer (Work From Home)

About the role

A Senior AGI32 Lighting Designer is needed to join the design team and contribute to client opportunities and projects. The role reports to the Lighting Design Manager and supports the sales side of the business by delivering lighting design and technical support to the sales team, while working as a dotted-line member of a customer account team alongside a customer account executive. It is a full-time position with a 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule (AEDT Sydney / Manila time).

Key responsibilities

• Review client briefs and document them accurately in internal systems.
• Provide design concepts and submissions for new clients and opportunities.
• Execute lighting designs according to Design & Construct specifications, company protocols and client deadlines.
• Manage and collaborate with junior designers and contractor teams, assigning tasks and delegating responsibilities.
• Assist in selecting lighting fixtures and guide the design process.
• Review and approve completed designs, facilitate client-initiated design changes and oversee peer reviews.
• Ensure work meets client deadlines and milestones.
• Assist in designing, developing and testing new and existing products.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and clients on design inquiries, quotes and technical matters.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in AGI32.
• Intermediate AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is a bonus.
• Advanced Office 365.
• Intermediate Salesforce/CRM preferred.
• Understanding of AS1680.0 to AS1680.5, AS1158.3.1, AS4282, Green Star V1 and V1.3.
• Strong written and verbal communication, professional and confident approach, and willingness to support colleagues.
