Senior Accounting Associate

About the role

CloudCFO is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to join its Philippines Operations team in Mandaluyong. You will work in a hybrid environment, applying your accounting expertise to help clients improve their financial processes and leverage cloud‑based technology.

Key responsibilities

• Review full sets of accounts and assist with compliance deliverables such as tax returns and financial statements.
• Ensure communication timelines are met and perform review and control activities for financial reporting and taxes.
• Suggest improvements to processes, templates, and workflow.
• Document and update Standard Operating Procedures for each client.
• Identify potential issues early and flag them to management.
• Oversee time‑keeping reports for the assigned team and participate in weekly planning and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Ability to work with minimal supervision in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented and highly organized.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA license preferred.
• 2+ years of senior‑level experience in general accounting, payroll, taxation or financial audit within client‑servicing firms.
• At least 6 months of supervisory or people‑management experience.
• Willingness to work hybrid and travel to Mandaluyong as needed.
