Senior Accountant – Remote (Philippines)

About the role

The Finance Group Global Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join its fully remote team supporting multiple client engagements across North America. The role involves accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust accounting processes, and delivering insights that aid business decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for various clients.
• Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and perform account reconciliations.
• Execute bank, balance‑sheet, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Generate management reports and provide financial insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Identify financial risks, trends, and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and assist with corporate, payroll, sales tax, GST, and income‑tax filings.
• Support internal and external audit processes and prepare audit schedules.
• Serve as a primary contact for assigned clients, answering accounting and reporting inquiries.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• CPA designation.
• Minimum three years of full‑cycle accounting experience.
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online.
