About the role

The School Nurse provides essential health services to students and staff within an educational environment. Reporting to school administration, the nurse ensures a safe and healthy learning atmosphere by delivering direct care, health education, and emergency response.

Key responsibilities

Deliver routine and urgent health care to students and staff.
Develop and maintain individualized care plans for students with chronic conditions.
Maintain accurate and confidential student medical records.
Administer prescribed medication and treatments safely.
Conduct health education sessions and promote preventive care.
Coordinate with parents, teachers, and administrators on health matters.
Participate in school safety drills and emergency preparedness activities.

Required profile

Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license.
Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
BLS and/or CPR certification preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Detail‑oriented with solid organizational skills.
