SAP ABAP Developer - Banking Services

About the role

ING is looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join its technology team in Manila and contribute to the design, development and enhancement of SAP Banking Services platforms. The role involves large-scale SAP implementations, collaboration with cross-functional teams and work on solutions that affect thousands of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver technical solutions for SAP Banking Services modules: FS-AM (Account Management), FS-MCM (Master Contract Management), FS-PE (Payment Engine), Effective Cash Pooling
• Analyse requirements with business stakeholders, functional consultants and technical teams and assess solution impacts
• Develop and enhance ABAP reports, interfaces, RFCs, BAPIs, web services and APIs, workflows, BADIs and enhancements
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, functional specifications and unit test artifacts
• Perform unit testing and support SIT and UAT activities
• Manage system deployments and transport releases across SAP environments
• Troubleshoot incidents, implement enhancements and provide ongoing application support
• Take part in code reviews and mentor development team members

Required profile

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience
• Proven experience across multiple end-to-end SAP implementation projects
• Hands-on experience with system upgrades (SPAUS, SPAUD, SPAU_ENH)
• Experience creating functional and technical specifications
• Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management and communication skills
• Preferred: banking or financial services experience, exposure to blueprint, build, deployment and post-go-live phases, and agile delivery experience
