Sales Support Officer

About the role

The Sales Support Officer ensures that all sales‑related documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date while providing operational support to retail and corporate sales teams. The role blends risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and financial reporting to help drive growth in credit cards, personal loans, and SIP loans.

Key responsibilities

• Manage retail and corporate sales channels (branches, telesales, direct sales, affiliates, corporate banking teams) to contribute to unsecured lending and card product growth.
• Strengthen relationships with channel partners and service providers, supporting daily operations with knowledge of sales processes, credit policies, audit, and compliance.
• Provide MIS, financials, and budget management; implement system and process improvements to achieve faster turnaround times.
• Identify new channels and opportunities to grow division targets for credit cards, SIP loans, and personal loans year‑on‑year.
• Monitor advertising, OPEX, CAPEX, and selling expenses within approved budgets and generate reports to enhance sales productivity.
• Update and implement strategies for retail and corporate products, handle complaints from assigned channels, and ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in pricing negotiations, analyse MIS data, and recommend strategies to meet business objectives.
• Make decisions on budget allocation, process enhancements, and development of performance monitoring indicators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing (preferably with honors from a top school).
• Operational know‑how in application processing, accreditation, complaints management, and process improvement.
• Strong leadership, strategic and analytical thinking, numeracy, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and process improvement expertise.
• Creative, adaptable, tech‑savvy, effective communicator with a can‑do attitude.
• At least 1 year of experience in sales, marketing, or support roles.
