Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to join our Marriott hotel team in Manila. The role focuses on driving revenue through guest interactions, up‑selling, and promoting the Marriott brand while ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Handle guest calls, requests, and problems, directing them to the appropriate department.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty, including up‑selling and offering complimentary gifts.
• Process Marriott Rewards points redemption, reservations, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax or mail.
• Enter reservation and rewards information into the hotel’s software system accurately.
• Perform general office duties supporting Sales & Marketing such as filing, emailing, typing and faxing.
• Assist management in training and motivating staff, serving as a role model.
• Uphold company policies, maintain professional appearance, and protect confidential information.
• Provide courteous guest service, anticipate needs, and thank guests sincerely.
• Communicate clearly, prepare written documents, and answer telephones with proper etiquette.
• Support team collaboration, monitor performance standards, and perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in sales or guest services.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
