Route Planner

About the role

The Route Planner is responsible for creating efficient daily delivery schedules, assigning trucks, and ensuring smooth transportation operations. This role works closely with customer service, purchasing, and logistics partners to guarantee timely and compliant deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily delivery route schedules and assign trucks based on volume and routes.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to monitor the status of shipments in transit.
• Liaise with Purchasing and brokers for shipment pickups, empty container returns, and related scheduling.
• Submit daily delivery schedule and route plan reports.
• Identify and report potential issues that could cause distribution delays, safety concerns, or GMP non‑compliance.
• Develop and implement process improvements to boost productivity and efficiency.

Required profile

• Graduate in Engineering, Sciences or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in production supervision or production management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems such as SAP or InforLN.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and administrative abilities.
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, OSH, and ISO standards.
