About the role

The Risk and Quality Manager (Accounting) oversees internal and external audit processes, ensures regulatory and organizational compliance, and drives continuous improvement across the organization. This role develops audit strategies to mitigate risk, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen quality management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop and implement audit strategies and risk‑management initiatives to reduce operational and compliance risk.
• Analyze audit findings and provide actionable recommendations for process and quality improvement.
• Manage audit timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to improve audit effectiveness and operational performance.
• Facilitate communication between audit teams, management, and clients.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
• Utilize technology and process‑improvement tools to enhance audit and quality management systems.
• Mentor junior staff and support their professional development.
• Maintain exceptional standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Minimum of seven years of relevant experience, preferably in audit.
• Strong experience managing internal and external audit processes.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and risk‑management practices.
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Business acumen and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Experience in compliance, governance, and operational risk management is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, strong attention to detail, and work independently or in a team.
