Researcher – Data Management Strategy Review

About the role

World Vision Philippines is seeking a Researcher to support the implementation of its Data Management (DM) Strategy Review and Refresh. The role will involve end‑to‑end research activities, from designing data‑collection tools to analysing results and reporting findings, working closely with the Partnering Officer and HEA Director.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in finalising research design and tools for the DM strategy review.
• Co‑facilitate data gathering through surveys, workshops, focus groups, key informant interviews and other participatory methods.
• Monitor data submission, ensure accuracy and timely syncing of collection tools.
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data and prepare monitoring reports, briefings, presentations and final strategy documents.
• Maintain proper documentation, capture success stories and lessons learned.
• Support logistical arrangements for fieldwork and ensure compliance with World Vision policies and security protocols.
• Participate in Technical Working Group meetings and contribute to team performance management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
• 2–3 years of field research or programme monitoring experience.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and conducting participatory data‑collection methods.
• Strong written communication skills for report and presentation preparation.
