Remote Recruiter – Waste Management & General Labor Staffing

About the role

Amass Solutions is looking for a motivated Remote Recruiter to support its Augment Human Resource Services (AHRS) division. You will source, screen, interview, and onboard high‑volume general‑labor talent for waste‑management and recycling operations across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Source qualified candidates for driver helpers, sorters, laborers, recycling facility workers, landfill laborers, and other sanitation roles using job boards, social media, referrals, and local outreach.
• Manage high‑volume recruiting across multiple markets and client accounts.
• Conduct phone screenings and virtual interviews to assess fit, reliability, availability, and transportation access.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, including background checks and employment documentation.
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates to improve retention and start rates.
• Partner with Account Managers and Operations teams to fulfill staffing demands quickly.
• Track recruiting metrics and maintain accurate records in the ATS/CRM system.
• Support rapid‑response hiring for urgent staffing requests.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of recruiting or staffing experience, preferably in high‑volume environments.
• Experience recruiting for general‑labor, industrial, warehouse, logistics, sanitation, or waste‑management roles.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously.
• Understanding of federal, state, and local employment regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ATS/CRM recruiting systems.
