Remote Dispatch Operations Specialist – $7/hr

About the role

Our client, a commercial repair company serving restaurants and grocery stores, is looking for a remote Dispatch Operations Specialist to keep field technicians and customers coordinated. The role ensures fast, clear communication and accurate scheduling to minimise equipment downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Dispatch work orders to technicians using ServiceTitan or similar field‑management software and re‑route schedules as urgent jobs arise.
• Communicate order details, arrival times and updates to both customers and technicians, resolving conflicts proactively.
• Enter billing notes, parts information and other data accurately into the system and maintain up‑to‑date work‑order records.
• Support broader business needs such as inventory input, warehouse organisation and subcontractor coordination while representing the company’s “white glove” service standard.

Required profile

• Calm and courteous under pressure, able to handle multiple schedule changes.
• Highly dependable and self‑sufficient with strong attention to detail.
• Natural relationship‑builder who can communicate clearly and de‑escalate issues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ServiceTitan or comparable dispatch software (e.g., mHelpDesk, Service Fusion, Field Edge, Housecall Pro, Jobber).
• Strong command of Google Suite and general office technology.
• Accurate data‑entry skills for billing, parts and equipment records.
