Remote Accountant – QuickBooks Online Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant with strong QuickBooks Online expertise to join our fully remote team. You will help maintain the financial health of the company by ensuring accurate record‑keeping and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations in QuickBooks Online, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with forecasting future financial trends.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
• Provide guidance on financial decision‑making and best practices.
• Assist with audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, specifically using QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with a team.
