Reliability Engineer

About the role

onsemi is looking for a self‑driven Reliability Engineer to support automotive semiconductor products. You will perform device characterization, reliability stress testing, and data analysis to ensure products meet automotive standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organize, document, and execute device reliability stress activities.
• Interpret and apply automotive reliability specifications such as AQG324, AEC Q100, and Q101.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians on reliability operations and new product development for vehicle electrification.
• Generate and archive stress reports and device characterization results.
• Work with cutting‑edge technologies, including Silicon Carbide devices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Experience with automotive reliability specifications (AQG324, AEC Q100, Q101).
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques.
• Ability to generate and query large databases.
• Technical presentation skills.
• Familiarity with Silicon Carbide technology.
