About the role
onsemi is looking for a self‑driven Reliability Engineer to support automotive semiconductor products. You will perform device characterization, reliability stress testing, and data analysis to ensure products meet automotive standards.
Key responsibilities
- Organize, document, and execute device reliability stress activities.
- Interpret and apply automotive reliability specifications such as AQG324, AEC Q100, and Q101.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians on reliability operations and new product development for vehicle electrification.
- Generate and archive stress reports and device characterization results.
- Work with cutting‑edge technologies, including Silicon Carbide devices.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related engineering field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Required skills
- Experience with automotive reliability specifications (AQG324, AEC Q100, Q101).
- Proficiency in data analysis techniques.
- Ability to generate and query large databases.
- Technical presentation skills.
- Familiarity with Silicon Carbide technology.
