Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking

About the role

The Relationship Manager will grow a portfolio of corporate clients by delivering tailored banking solutions, meeting profitability targets, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. This role combines business development, credit risk oversight, and client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies to maximize returns.
• Identify and acquire credit‑worthy corporate accounts.
• Design customized product plans in coordination with bank partners.
• Build relationships with CEOs, COOs, CFOs and promote cross‑selling of bank services.
• Meet profitability, cross‑sell, and market‑share targets for assets and liabilities.
• Prepare and evaluate credit proposals, monitor portfolio quality, and ensure compliance with covenants and regulatory policies.
• Assist in collections, loan restructuring, and manage past‑due accounts.
• Mentor junior Account Specialists on account administration and relationship management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience in corporate banking.
• Working knowledge of credit analysis, banking products, and regulatory documentation.
• Preferably fluent in Chinese.
