Fraud Case Associate

About the role

The Fraud Case Associate supports Unibank’s fraud and dispute management functions by processing transaction disputes, conducting investigations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role works closely with card networks, merchants, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Handle resolution of disputed MasterCard, VISA, and BancNet transactions.
• List lost and cancelled delinquent accounts in the MasterCard Account Management System.
• Monitor subsidiary ledgers and ensure float items are disposed of within five days.
• Prepare regulatory reports required by card schemes and banking regulators.
• Coordinate with member banks, merchants, and other departments to resolve disputes.
• Generate monthly and quarterly MIS reports for management decision‑making.
• Identify and report fraudulent activities, block suspicious transactions, and support reclamation efforts.
• Provide 24/7 monitoring, receive fraud referrals, and conduct Enhanced Due Diligence on suspect accounts.
• Manage mailbox communications, submit STR/RCL reports, and handle customer complaints related to deposits and disputes.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing for departmental functions and ensure compliance with Unibank policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; prior fraud handling experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work in Makati and on a shifting schedule.
