Regional Training Manager – APAC

About the role

The Regional Training Manager – APAC will lead the design and delivery of a comprehensive capability‑building agenda across the APAC region for Glenmark Pharmaceuticals. Reporting to the Regional Business Head and the Global Head of Talent & Learning, you will support rapid business expansion by strengthening onboarding, enhancing functional and behavioral competencies, and embedding an integrated capability framework across diverse markets, including distributor‑led geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an integrated capability framework covering product knowledge, disease‑area expertise, selling skills, market access fundamentals, compliance, ethical promotion, and leadership development.
• Align training strategy with regional business goals and market maturity, ensuring relevance and consistency with global stakeholders.
• Design and execute structured onboarding programmes for new hires across APAC, facilitating rapid ramp‑up.
• Drive functional and behavioral training initiatives, including customer engagement techniques and compliance practices.
• Partner with regional and global teams to monitor training effectiveness and continuously improve learning solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in learning and development or training management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life‑science sector.
• Strong understanding of APAC market dynamics and ability to work across multiple countries.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to design curriculum, facilitate workshops, and evaluate learning impact.
