Recruitment Coordinator – Remote (Independent Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Recruitment Coordinator to join our People Team. This remote, independent‑contractor position supports the hiring of teachers and manages substitute‑teacher staffing, ensuring a smooth candidate experience from interview to onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple school locations.
• Manage candidate communications, including invitations, confirmations, and follow‑ups.
• Review applications and conduct initial screenings.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and workflows in the ATS.
• Prepare and send offer letters and support pre‑employment processes.
• Schedule substitute teachers, handle placement, and collect compliance documentation.
• Track recruiting activity, hiring metrics, and recruitment records.
• Support recruitment projects, process improvements, and administrative tasks to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in recruitment coordination, HR, staffing, or related fields.
• Exceptional organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and follow‑through.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred).
