About the role
We are looking for a highly organized Recruitment Coordinator to join our People Team. This remote, independent‑contractor position supports the hiring of teachers and manages substitute‑teacher staffing, ensuring a smooth candidate experience from interview to onboarding.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple school locations.
- Manage candidate communications, including invitations, confirmations, and follow‑ups.
- Review applications and conduct initial screenings.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and workflows in the ATS.
- Prepare and send offer letters and support pre‑employment processes.
- Schedule substitute teachers, handle placement, and collect compliance documentation.
- Track recruiting activity, hiring metrics, and recruitment records.
- Support recruitment projects, process improvements, and administrative tasks to enhance efficiency.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of experience in recruitment coordination, HR, staffing, or related fields.
- Exceptional organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and follow‑through.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred).
