Recruiter – Trucking & Logistics

About the role

Outsourcey is seeking a dedicated Recruiter to lead driver and owner‑operator sourcing for its trucking and logistics division. You will play a pivotal role in building a compliant, high‑performing driver fleet while supporting business development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Source and recruit qualified 1099 drivers using job boards, social media, referrals and industry networks.
• Screen candidates, review MVRs, driving history, CDL status and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
• Coordinate pre‑employment and random drug testing, and manage onboarding and orientation.
• Maintain accurate driver records, qualification documentation and operational spreadsheets.
• Build pipelines of owner‑operators, reach out to shippers/brokers, and assist with business development to secure transportation contracts.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries, communicate load details to drivers, and support dispatch coordination.
• Identify and propose improvements to recruiting, onboarding and operational processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2.5 years experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, driver recruiting, dispatching or fleet operations.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, driver qualification requirements, CDL standards and drug‑testing programs.
• Proven ability to review MVRs and driver qualification files.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and organizational skills.
