Reactor Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Reactor Operator to manage the batch transesterification process that converts coconut oil and methanol into high‑quality CME biodiesel. The role is hands‑on and takes place on the production floor, requiring close monitoring of temperature, pressure and mixing parameters to meet product specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Charge raw materials such as coconut oil, methanol and catalyst into the reactor.
• Start, monitor and control batch reactions, adjusting temperature, pressure, mixing speed and reaction time according to SOPs.
• Record all batch data, including material quantities, operating conditions and yields.
• Coordinate with the laboratory to verify that the product meets CME/biodiesel specifications.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and report any mechanical issues.
• Follow plant safety rules and chemical‑handling procedures at all times.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational graduation.
• Ability to perform manual tasks such as material charging and loading/unloading.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts in an industrial environment.
• Physically fit and able to work under varying plant conditions.

Required skills

• Batch reaction monitoring and control (temperature, pressure, mixing).
• Basic equipment troubleshooting.
