RBS Auditor – Responsible Business Services

About the role

SGS is seeking a qualified RBS Auditor to lead and execute Responsible Business Services audits in line with the RBS‑P‑GEN‑01 Quality Manual and international standards. The role involves both on‑site and remote audits across a range of domains, including social, technical, quality, environmental, security, and chain‑of‑custody assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and finalise audits as a team member or leader, following RBS Global Procedures, ISO 17021 and ISO 19011.
• Perform desk studies of client codes of conduct and prepare audit itineraries and reports within agreed turnaround times.
• Communicate with clients on audit findings, address inquiries, and raise non‑conformances during closing meetings.
• Maintain compliance with Global SGS policies, QHSEE standards and continuing professional development requirements.
• Develop and deliver training materials, coach auditors under supervision, and support sales activities with client visits.
• Update client files, kick‑sheets and audit packages, ensuring accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience conducting audits under ISO 17021 and ISO 19011 frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of the RBS‑P‑GEN‑01 Quality Manual and related RBS procedures.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple audit assignments and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal coaching.
