Quality Mill Engineer

About the role

The Quality Mill Engineer ensures that flour products meet the required quality standards throughout the milling and packaging processes. This position provides essential support to operators and other key personnel, stepping in to maintain smooth operations during busy periods or staff absences. The role involves physically demanding tasks and requires flexibility to work on rotating shift schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the quality of finished flour products from the mill and packing operations, verifying compliance with specifications.
• Relieve operators and other key mill personnel by taking over tasks during peak times or when coverage is needed.
• Perform hands‑on machine operation and adjustment to keep equipment running at optimal performance.
• Assist with routine equipment checks to identify and address any quality‑related issues promptly.

Required profile

• Willingness to adapt to shifting schedules and work in a physically challenging environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with mill staff and support production goals.
