Quality Inspector

About the role

The Quality Inspector ensures that all products and materials used in shipbuilding meet the required quality standards. This role involves performing inspections, tests, and verifications at key construction checkpoints to confirm compliance with drawings, specifications, and classification society requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute verification, inspection, and testing activities according to the Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
• Examine products and materials at various construction stages for defects or deviations.
• Maintain and improve inspection processes and controls to continuously raise vessel quality.
• Prepare and submit accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and external customers to resolve quality issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2‑3 years of quality control experience, or Technical Diploma/Associate degree with 5+ years in shipbuilding or similar heavy industry.
• Strong ability to read and interpret ship construction drawings, blueprints, and marine standards.
• Physical fitness to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in marine weather conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, to meet project deadlines.
