Quality Engineer

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead and support total quality assurance initiatives across its manufacturing operations. You will work closely with internal teams to identify, analyze, and eliminate quality issues, ensuring products meet stringent design specifications and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and control elements of a Total Quality Assurance Program.
• Gather quality data, identify root causes of complaints, scrap, and rework, and drive corrective actions.
• Research, recommend, and implement process and quality improvements.
• Manage product quality plans, drive improvement projects, and prepare quality reports.
• Handle customer complaints and oversee corrective and preventive action programs.
• Support in‑process and outgoing inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and control plans.
• Direct and supervise quality testing of samples, compile data, and issue reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address product‑related quality issues and promote continuous improvement.
• Perform document control activities and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (non‑civil) or higher.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing of electric/electronic products.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management standards.
• Familiarity with quality tools such as Control Plan, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, APQP, and PPAP.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using quality software such as Minitab.
• Hands‑on knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Application of Control Plan, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, APQP, PPAP.
