Quality Assurance Specialist – Feed Production

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures that raw materials, feeds, and packaging meet the company’s strict quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports the production of animal feed by performing inspections, sampling, and documentation to maintain product integrity throughout the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections and physical checks of raw materials, feeds, and packaging to verify compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.
• Collect representative samples from delivery trucks and production lines following established sampling protocols for laboratory analysis.
• Monitor production processes and equipment to identify variations, defects, or non‑conformities and alert the QA Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, deviations, corrective actions, and Certificates of Analysis for macro, micro, and packaging materials.
• Prepare shift reports, including QA Analyst shift report, FSAR, bin bottom, in‑process monitoring, and RM SAR.
• Conduct audits and checks to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report deviations.
• Effective communication with production and quality teams to resolve non‑conformities.
• Experience in maintaining documentation and records in a regulated environment.
