QA Test Analyst (Playwright) - Work From Home

About the role

Monvia, an Australian SaaS insurance technology company, is expanding its offshore capability in the Philippines and is hiring a QA Test Analyst (Playwright) to work from home. The role starts with manual testing, regression testing, test execution and defect management, then moves toward automation frameworks such as Playwright, API testing, performance testing and AI-powered testing. The schedule is 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM AEDT Sydney or 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Manila.

Key responsibilities

• Functional testing: review requirements and acceptance criteria, create and run test cases, scenarios and plans, validate insurance workflows and customer journeys, and manage defects in Jira
• Automation testing: maintain and run automated suites, help write new scripts, and use FitNesse, Playwright, Selenium and API automation tools to raise coverage
• Quality engineering: support shift-left testing, collaborate with developers to prevent defects, and help build reusable test assets and test data management
• Performance and integration testing: run performance and load tests with JMeter, validate integrations and APIs, and assist with root cause analysis of production issues
• AI and innovation: explore AI-assisted test case generation, defect analysis, intelligent regression testing, self-healing automation and other emerging tools

Required profile

• 5 years of software testing experience, including manual test execution
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and attention to detail
• Jira and Agile experience; excellent written and spoken English
• Ability to work with Australian stakeholders; preferred: SaaS, API testing, SQL, FitNesse, Selenium, Playwright, insurance industry and offshore team experience
