QA Specialist (Quality Assurance Technician II)

About the role

The Quality Assurance Technician II provides technical support for quality assurance and food safety through testing, auditing, documentation, and data analysis. You will work closely with the team to identify quality issues, analyse trends, and help transfer knowledge across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect finished products and raw materials to detect defects and support complex trials under supervision.
• Review hazard analysis, food safety, and quality documentation.
• Assist in audits and shelf‑life projects, preparing test reports and final summaries.
• Manage customer complaints, ensuring corrective actions and preventive measures are implemented.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to new team members.
• Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical, or customer‑support issues, escalating when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience (typically 3 years or more).
• Background in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Willingness to work in Malolos, Bulacan, Philippines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of meat cuts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
