QA Engineer – Mobile & API Testing

About the role

You will own quality across the Motoloan product, covering mobile applications, backend APIs, and customer‑facing workflows as the product scales and evolves. You will work closely with product managers and developers throughout the full development cycle, from test planning to release.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases for mobile apps, APIs, and backend services.
• Perform manual testing of new features and customer‑facing workflows, analyze results and provide clear recommendations.
• Build and maintain test documentation such as test cases, checklists, and reports.
• Run regression testing across releases and product updates.
• Contribute to test planning, QA strategy, and communicate defects, risks, and technical issues to developers and stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, including mobile application and API testing.
• Hands‑on experience with tools like Postman, Xcode, and traffic analysis tools (Proxyman, Charles, or Fiddler).
• Strong SQL knowledge for data validation and experience with test management systems such as TestOps or TestRail.
