Purchasing Officer – Retail Procurement

About the role

Expressions Stationery Shop, Inc. is looking for a full‑time Purchasing Officer to join its retail network in Makati. The role focuses on managing purchase orders, sourcing suppliers, and ensuring cost‑effective procurement for a variety of store formats.

Key responsibilities

• Create, process, and track purchase orders and requisitions.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align purchasing activities with inventory needs and budget constraints.
• Monitor delivery schedules, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate purchasing records.
• Analyze market trends and pricing strategies to support cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in purchasing processes, order management, and requisition handling.
• Strong analytical ability to assess vendors and market conditions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
