Public Relations Specialist – Lead Agency PR

About the role

PRLab, an award‑winning PR agency in Amsterdam, is looking for a dynamic Public Relations Specialist to lead PR initiatives for the agency itself. You will shape PRLab’s global reputation, craft compelling narratives, and drive measurable impact across international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement PR strategies that elevate PRLab’s brand worldwide.
• Write press releases, thought‑leadership articles, and case studies showcasing PRLab’s methodology and client successes.
• Secure podcast interviews for the founder and contribute content to key trade outlets.
• Build and maintain relationships with international media, journalists, and industry influencers.
• Obtain high‑impact coverage in top‑tier publications relevant to tech, startups, and PR.
• Monitor media trends, identify timely PR opportunities, and manage participation in industry events, conferences, and awards.
• Collaborate with leadership, marketing, and client teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning.
• Measure and report on campaign effectiveness using data‑driven metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of international PR experience, preferably in tech or agency environments.
• Proven track record of securing media coverage in global outlets.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong network of international media contacts and deep understanding of the tech/startup ecosystem.
• Creative thinker, results‑oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in fast‑paced, multicultural settings.
