Property Engineer

About the role

The Property Engineer is responsible for the technical management of an assigned property, ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and systems operate efficiently and safely. This role supervises technical personnel, oversees maintenance contracts, and supports the overall performance of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all building equipment and machinery.
• Renew statutory permits for machinery and maintain equipment manuals.
• Monitor utilities consumption (electricity, water, diesel) against budget and execute the Energy Management Plan.
• Participate in testing and commissioning of equipment, coordinating with construction teams.
• Review renovation plans, inspect fit‑out units, and ensure compliance with permits and guidelines.
• Assist the Property Manager with security, housekeeping, house rules, and related operational plans.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Registered Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in property management as a Property Engineer, preferably in residential developments.
