Project Manager – Solar PV Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead solar photovoltaic (PV) projects from design through commissioning. The role involves overseeing engineering, construction, risk and contract management to deliver projects on time, within budget and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare procedural reports and weekly/monthly project updates for key and commercial accounts.
• Manage all phases of engineering design and technical issues for solar PV power plants and main equipment.
• Lead construction, commissioning, risk, and contract management activities.
• Negotiate and award contracts to general contractors and ensure EH&S programs are implemented.
• Maintain customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact for clients, joint ventures, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Secure project licensing, permitting and ensure compliance with local and national regulations.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives and risk‑mitigation action plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and registration as an Electrical Engineer.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy, specifically solar PV design and engineering.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering solar projects.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine statutory rules and regulations for solar installations.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to reside in Southern Philippines (e.g., Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Laguna, Cavite).
