Project Manager – Civil Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead civil engineering projects from planning through close‑out. The role involves coordinating internal teams, contractors, vendors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, cost control and safety compliance across all site activities.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate management direction and goals to internal teams, contractors, vendors and suppliers.
• Manage group and individual performance, set direction aligned with targets, review performance and provide guidance.
• Oversee comprehensive project cost management, including contingencies and unlisted components.
• Deliver and manage projects from planning to close‑out within agreed time and quality.
• Develop detailed project execution plans with required resources.
• Plan strategic options when schedules fall behind; forecast and initiate plans for anticipated issues.
• Coordinate and communicate with all project stakeholders to manage expectations.
• Prepare and review project costs and ensure compliance with the approved budget.
• Ensure site personnel follow proper safety protocols during task execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Postgraduate Diploma or Master’s considered an asset).
• Valid professional engineering license.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in project management.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willingness to be deployed to any location as required.
