Project Engineer – Construction Site Lead

About the role

The Project Engineer will lead the construction team, overseeing daily site activities and ensuring that all work aligns with project specifications and quality standards. This role requires close coordination with the main contractor and proactive problem‑solving on a busy construction site.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with the main contractor for daily site activities.
• Supervise and monitor the site labor force.
• Manage storage, delivery, and use of materials on site.
• Organise plant, material deliveries, and site facilities to meet deadlines.
• Verify that all work follows current shop drawings and project specifications.
• Complete and manage quality‑control forms according to the Project Quality Plan.
• Oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures on site.
• Resolve minor technical issues and report unresolved problems to the site manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Project Engineer.
• Experience with post‑tensioning and retro‑fitting projects.
• Background in both new‑build and repair projects.
• Strong supervisory abilities and excellent written and oral communication.
• Willingness to work in any location and shift as required.
